Quantified Regimes explores measurement as a fundamental structure through which contemporary life is organised. Numbers, standards, and protocols extend beyond calculation, shaping bodies, environments, and collective behaviour across multiple scales.

Drawing upon sports infrastructures, agricultural landscapes, urban planning, and other regulated environments, the project studies how territory, movement, and performance are translated into grids, boundaries, intervals, scores, thresholds, and rankings. Quantification becomes a mechanism that defines value, regulates behaviour, and conditions the ways space is experienced and inhabited.

Quantified Regimes is an ongoing body of work examining how spaces, bodies, and collective behaviours are organised through measurement, repetition, comparison, and rule. Across aerial photography, painting, diagrams, sculpture, installation, and studies of sport, the works trace how fields, tracks, pools, agricultural plots, urban surfaces, and athletic systems convert territory and movement into grids, intervals, scores, boundaries, and thresholds. Quantification appears not only as data, but as a physical and social structure that shapes posture, rhythm, efficiency, competition, and the use of space. Moving between landscape and embodied action, Quantified Regimes considers how systems of measurement produce both visible orders and lived patterns of behaviour.
